@LakerLukaSZN77@ScottieAlerts Well said. Claims of tampering among other shady dealings were raised back then. Many said Raptors fans were just salty because he wanted to go home. No one leaves millions on the table "to go home" to join another team that technically can only pay you less. Clippers are guilty.
Lost my silver pen, but the GROAT @Klow7 signed it just the same! Can't wait to witness history go up at the 'bank on retirement game night. #7Forever#home@Raptors; shoutout to Casey for this piece of art ππΎπ«‘
@Novig Toronto hands down. 3 million+ showed up. Whole country behind them. This pic and vid is one street. Cops partying. Zero vandalism. That's how you do it.
@NBABoards@kirawontmiss We don't get taxed on lottery money in Canada. If it was 50 million she would get all 50 million, not a penny short. In this example she would have gotten 1 million upfront. Now if she invested the 1 million, they will only apply tax on the growth earned. She made a bad decision.
@martialdre@oyinkanbadejo It's $1 million up front, lottery in Canada is not taxed. She'll be charged tax if she invested it and it grows. The "growth" is what's taxed. She should have taken the million.
