@jamespotter I’m moving to Malaysia by the end of the month and I already noticed recently that the prices were cheaper when deciding where to buy a new Mac and a camera, if there or EU or Thailand or China. Good to know they’re cheaper than elsewhere!
@zack_overflow I’ve been very close to this setup for a while now: a few VPSs and a 3090 Linux server, tailscale, codex, ssh from terminal and sftp with cyberduck, termius, cloudflare tunnels.
What I added recently is Hermes, so I can ask through a voice message to run codex for me
@zack_overflow@essenciverse Oh, this is a great solution! I’ve been uploading folders through sftp using cyberduck, would take me a couple of seconds at most but this is nice
@Dave_Fellows@0xJokker Also, how many tokens can it generate per month? Even if it’s generating 24/7, I doubt it can get anywhere near the token amount of a 200 tier subscription

@TheRohanVarma Very cool! I have the feeling that this could create more vendor lock in - so for the more technical of us, hosting our stuff on a different platform might be a smarter choice, since someday we might want to get a different LLM provider. But awesome to see nevertheless
@DataChaz Why should we read your post if you don’t care writing it? Are you handicapped in a way that you actually need AI to replace the brain functions you’d use to write a tweet?
GPT Image 2 + Unicorn Studio as the base for a landing page hero, combined with Veo 3.1 (people walking, not visible in the video).
The idea is: sentiment analysis for discord communities, to help the management of big communities, so you "see the sentiment"
@emilheap@sama Am I mistaken or also free tier had access to Codex, and for that limited time Codex on plus had double the usage of Codex on Free?
What are the limits of free now? is it still available at all?
@kimmonismus What effect does this have on your writing? I realize I type differently compared to how I speak. While typing I take the time to iterate thoughts and simplify. While speaking, I get in a natural flow and I generally "think faster", like holding a momentum
