The amount of gloating I see on social media about Dubai being targeted by hundreds of Iranian missiles and drones is frankly disgusting.
People, it’s not just influencers and crypto bros in Dubai. Have some respect.
It’s a huge city with a diverse population from literally all over the world, including Iran. Families with children shrieking in fear have to seek shelter at night.
Dubai is a global magnet for educated people seeking professional opportunities, stability and happiness. Opportunities that — if you happen to be a doctor from Egypt or an engineer from Uzbekistan — are not easily available to you in Europe or the U.S.
After all these barrages, Dubai has remained resilient. It’s a real place. It will get through this.

We now have the details on the new Gaza power structure. The so called "Board of Peace." Big shock, Trump named himself chairman.

Power is dvidied into tiers. At the top are a bunch of Americans: Rubio, Witkoff, Kushner a couple of others, and one none American: Tony Blair. A group set up to rule in the name of American interests and big money. And with a VERY questionable ethical record.

Tier 2 is the “Gaza executive board,” includes more foreign officials from Europe + the Middle East—but it’s implied to be supporting. Some Americans sit on both boards.

Where are the Palestinians? Why in tier 3, of course. Palestinians are all “technocrats” panel for day-to-day administration. They do the heavy lifting for the colonial masters.

The setup is clearly colonial, the purpose to rob Gaza and its people blind while allowing their ethnic cleansing by Israel.

@swtrains_watch @dave_dlt @SW_Help Unfortunately so. I remember witnessing a staff member at Vauxhall a couple of months ago laughing with his colleague about how he’d told an old man with a cane the wrong way for the lift down. They found it hilarious. The lack of humanity sometimes shocks me!
