@RealDeclanReed@LaurieLemuria@MattWalshBlog "jurors arent allowed" this. "jurors arent allowed" that. BS. If jurors aren't held to account, they are allowed.
"Not supposed to". Sure. "Not allowed to". BS
Judge sez "u aren't here to decide the law". But they can anyway by their vote. Jury nullification - goes both ways.
@codybernius@AllyJKiss maybe, maybe not. He's certainly cautious when making statements about belief because its a very serious matter.
He tries and advocates other try to *act as if* they are believers. Which is better - proclaim belief and act otherwise? or hold doubts but lead one's life "as if"?
@Erica_TateVuyk@SyrenSongs@TaraBull Not buying the 'guilt she will carry is justice/punishment enough'. To check it, change one fact e.g., suppose all circumstances are the same and assume PPP, but instead of killing her own 3 kids she kills someone elses 3 kids. PPP still justify no jail?
@Drew_Scarlet98@blairvic02 Bad take. Even if they didn't save the money to give back it's not 'shaking you down' any more than rent anywhere else is. Parents don't owe adult children free housing.
@Erica_TateVuyk@SyrenSongs@TaraBull In this case, how would you balance Mercy and Justice? A mandatory year in mental hospital, for example, would seem like all mercy and no justice.
@CharisBWN@MattWalshBlog Postpartum is real, and irrelevant, because it never justifies killing your kids. Full stop. No qualifiers. No mitigating factors. You don't get to kill your kids cause you feel wretched. Anyone can state that, including men.
@CharisBWN@MattWalshBlog You know 'mansplain' isn't a thing, right?
Its a made up word to avoid actual intellectual engagement with a topic by telling men they don't get to have a voice. Easily overcome by using another fabrication - trans woman. As in, I'm not mansplaining, I'm a women!
