@gt2andy @jmarr19841 @QuentinWillson It’s horses for courses. I’ve driven EV’s for the last 10 years, I only charge at home so never waiting on a charge and super cheap to run. I never buy new so depreciation is my friend. There are plenty out there that EV’s don’t suit, they can buy an ICE.

@au_tom_otive The trouble is there’s a lot of drivers out there that genuinely hate EV’s. We all know the “I’ll never drive an EV” gang. Personally I feel it comes from the 2035 deadline where they feel a gun will be placed at the side of their temple and forced into buying one.

@au_tom_otive We have a vehicle lease company we can use at work. Whilst there is a massive opportunity to save tax (53% in Scotland 😡) and get great discounts on new EV’s they ‘reverse engineer’ the price so you only make a slight saving compared to normal lease deals.
