@SwiftOnSecurity@SteveD3 @dave_w77 Shift+Insert is the same as Ctrl+V, but isn't trapped by JavaScript.
Cut = Ctrl+X = Shift+Delete
Copy = Ctrl+C = Ctrl+Insert
Paste = Ctrl+V = Shift+Insert
Undo = Ctrl+Z = Alt+Backspace
Very helpful for one-handed users.
I wish I were a computer programmer in the 1990s, working in a 10x10 office, indirectly lit by a halogen pole lamp, helping write Windows XP, listening to Soundgarden and STP.
And when you got stuck on something, you could just look at the Windows source code to find out why.
And if you didn't understand it, you could wander down the hallway to the office of the person who actually wrote it and ask them.
And pizza should be a dollar, and there should be a little lake with ducks where I can go smoke during long compiles. And my hair should be awesome, and my monitors heavy.
Few weeks ago, Microsoft starts taking Windows seriously again and listening to feedback.
Today, Google announces Google Book...a high-end chromebook with support from all major OEMs.
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
@astro_reid@Astro_Christina How did you keep the iPhone from focusing on the dust on the inside of the window? Every single time I see something out of my airplane window my iPhone 17 Pro Max insists on auto focusing on the window and not the object in the distance.
Claude Code wiped our production database with a Terraform command.
It took down the DataTalksClub course platform and 2.5 years of submissions: homework, projects, and leaderboards.
Automated snapshots were gone too.
In the newsletter, I wrote the full timeline + what I changed so this doesn't happen again.
If you use Terraform (or let agents touch infra), this is a good story for you to read.

@SaintJMac@jasonrlicht Yeah, and yet he can still build a championship team that had Tom Brady and Gronk without blowing out the salary cap. Something the Aints GM should learn from.
