Jess-ca

Ph.D. candidate so I know everything about next to nothing. STL Cards crazy. I get mad over baseball.

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

@The_Ryan_Shull @Cardinals I saw a dead squirrel on the highway today and it had more life in it than the Cards do right now

[Ryan @The_Ryan_Shull]

There’s nothing the @Cardinals can do to let me down today.

My expectations have never been lower.

[Cardinal Kingdom @STLCards18]

There have been less people saying “relax, it’s only April” compared to previous years.

Other than Contreras, the #STLCards front office did virtually nothing to improve this team in the offseason… especially pitching.

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

@CardinalsConvo Right?!

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

That game was Stupidtown #STLCards

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

Pitch clock rattling Matz a little imo. I genuinely hate that thing #STLCards

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

So how long does Marmol last? Genuinely curious. #STLCards It looks increasingly likely we won’t even be a wildcard for NL. Mo will have to scapegoat someone

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

#STLCards

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

We look like a high school JV team rn 🫠 #STLCards

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

Cards are making me sad. #STLCards

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

This needs to happen more often #NootNews #Nootbaar

[St. Louis Cardinals @Cardinals]

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to bring you this breaking news. #NootNews

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

@Cardinals 17 years. Grew up in LA watching Dodger games with my dad. Fan base and class are a lot higher and games much more fun here in the Lou. When I moved here the baseball fandom was amazing. I’ve been a Cards fan since!

[Quinn @QuinnSTLCards]

The Cardinals could fill the field with MLB caliber players twice.

Contreras C
Goldschmidt 1B
Gorman 2B
Arenado 3B
DeJong SS
O’Neill LF
Carlson CF
Nootbaar RF

Herrera C
Yepez 1B
Edman 2B
Donovan 3B
Winn SS
Gomez LF
Walker CF
Burleson RF

@DannyMacTV @101espn @martinkilcoyne2 Welcome back, DannyMac!

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

@iamblaw @katiejwoo Bucknor is legally blind according to his stats

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

@Granth3Goat @katiejwoo Fines should be applicable where clear bias is evident and/or accuracy stats fall below a certain percentage. Or some form of punishment as you mention.

[Ryan @The_Ryan_Shull]

@katiejwoo @DKleinstuber MLB has to keep Bucknor away from Cardinals games

[Jess-ca @Chunkyfunky1985]

@katiejwoo Bucknor shouldn’t be allowed to ump Cardinal games. He’s got a huge grudge. His stats suck anyways. Should’ve been fired a long time ago. In 2013 he was in the bottom of accuracy stats for umps. He is a terrible ump for any team.

[Buster Olney @Buster_ESPN]

Filed to the ESPN news desk: MLB is reviewing what occurred between umpire C.B. Bucknor and Cardinals Manager Oliver Marmol. Marmol told reporters after Saturday's game that Bucknor would not shake his hand during the exchange of lineup cards before the game.
