In October 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz
This little darling was the daughter of Juda, born 15-04-1902 and Signourou nee Ouchki, born 15-04-1903.
Both parents were born in Istanbul, Turkey.
The family lived in Paris.
On 07-10-1943 they were deported from Drancy to Auschwitz.

1 August 1927 | Czech Jewish woman Magda Rosenberg was born.
In 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz. She did not survive.
Another friendly launching face of a too young girl. She was the daughter of Serena Zali, 11/01/1887 & Lajos Eliezer, 21/07/1885. She had at least 1 brother, Yitzkhak, who did the testimonies on Yad Vashem.

Here's a photo of a younger Guido Graciadio Foà with his parents, Italo [born to Ezechiele And Rachele de Benedetti °29-05-1907] & Estella Luzatti [born to Camillo And Gemma Calabi 14-11-1909].
He also lost to the Shoah a cousin of his age, Manuel Foà whose father also perished, Pacifico.
2 August 1936 | A French Jewish girl, Berthe Lederman, was born in Paris.
In August 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz from #Drancy and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.
Betty,6,as she was called +her family were victims of the 2 darkest pages of Paris history.
On 14/05/1941, her dad, Jacob,41 +her eldest brother, Isaac,19 showed up to what looked like an administrative summon on green stationery. The #GreenTickets Round-up: They're arrested!
In turn, Cyporja Lederman née Kon,of Kozienice,43 And her young children:Roger,4, Betty,6, Joseph,7, Suzanne,11 are sent to their deaths on 26-8-1942.None of the 7 survived.
According to the Ministry of Defense Archives, her eldest son, Icek Mejer,21 managed to 'last' to 20-1-43
The LEDERMANs had 8 kids. 2 died in infancy, incl Marie(1930-1931)
Eldest son, Icek Majer 'Isaac' LEDERMAN, born Kovienice 16-02-1922, deported 5-06-1942, perished Auschwitz 21-01-1943.
Daughter Perla (Kovienice, 1927) survived &moved to Israel with Dad Jankel, Auschwitz survivor

There's no photo of Isaac as far as I can see.
He's in Auschwitz Death Remnants Book (Ref 2917/1943) as Isaac LEDERMANN (sic), son of Jankiel & Cypra KOHN.
It's good to reunite him here, with his family. I'll let Memorial de la Shoah & Yad Vashem.
I was able to reconstitute the family via Paris Census 1931&1936 +Paris Hospital Deaths.
Isaac was definitely Betty's oldest brother. Even though Berthe was her official name, she's mentioned everywhere as Betty.
Dad Jankel&son Isaac were interned in Compiègne-Royallieu by 1941.

In 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her mother Lena and siblings Anne & John. All Perished

They were the children of Meijer Machiel, a taylor, born 05-07-1913 and Lena, born 23-05-1914

Anne, 26-09-1936 (6yr)
John, 25-01-1935 (7yr)
They lived in Amsterdam and were all deported from #Westerbork on 25-09-1942.
Meijer was selected into the camp and died there on 31-01-1943.

1 August 1906 | Hungarian Jewish woman Ilona Lassner (nee Frankfurt) was born.
In June 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz. She did not survive. She was married to Karol (fate unknown) and had a child Zuzana who died in Auschwitz (No birthdate/age listed).
Ilona was the daughter of Mor, born 15/04/1871, and Lina, born 21/11/1874.

She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt Ghetto on 18 May 1944. She did not survive.She was married to Arnold who died before the war.
She had 4 brothers and 1 sister:-Eduard 21 Jan 1877 (Theresienstad 24 Jan 1944)

31 July 1923 | Czech Jewish woman Alžběta Pohnertová was born in Prague.
She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Theresienstadt Ghetto on 26 January 1943. She did not survive. Alžběta was the wife of Hanus, born 30-11-1919.
They were deported to Theresienstad on 20-06-1942 and 7 months later, on 26-01-1943 to Auschwitz. Beautiful young people. They had and should have so many years to live.

31 July 1932 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Rivka Regina Krzywanowski, was born in Amsterdam.
She was arrested while trying to get to Spain. She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Drancy on August 1942.
Rivka Regina, daughter of Sara, born 28-03-1902 in Lublin, Poland and Isaak, born 05-10-1897 in Minsk. Rivka had an older brother Jacob, born 21-09-1930. The family used to live in Amsterdam.
At some point in time they tried to escape and wanted to flee to Spain.They got 'arrested' while trying to pass the demarcation line at Chalon-sur-Saône. They were all send to Pithiviers.
On 26-08-1942 they were deported to Auschwitz.
Isaac was selected into the camp and survived.On his Dutch Jewish council card it says he returned in Amsterdam June 1945.
In 1947 he remarried Hanna Kotowska.
They had a son in 1949 and moved to Buenos Aires in 1953. Isaak passed away in 1962. Rivka, Jacob and Sara we will remember you!

In 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz
It took Rózsa's dad, Erno, 60 years after the murders of his 2 kids And wife to fill out their testimonies at YV. He was by then 96+a survivor of years of slav labor as a 'munka szolgalato'
Sandor°14-5-1943, Rózca, 6 & mum Ilona, 34 were taken from the Ghetto And deported 6-2-44.
Rózsa's parents had ran a shop together.
Ilóna was born 6-11-1912 to Samuel Katz+Rozala Rozenberg.
Ernö (1910-2011) was the son of Lipót Schwarcz And Rebeka Friedmann.
