There's more to harvesting than pulling plants out of the farm, there's also planning where it goes and how it's packaged.
In the latest post, pull back the curtain what makes harvest possible: https://t.co/8sNbDHv8B7 #verticalfarming#hydroponics
Adding chemical fertilizers to test the effect of nutrients on invasive plant survival & performance in the tundra. After a week, I’ll be adding seeds & transplanting several widespread weedy invasive species 🌱

Lunchtime for a mom with 2 cubs-of-the-year. We're not sampling family groups so we just flew by these bears. They were sitting on top of a seal kill & weren't too interested in us. The cubs are a good size for being just 1.5 months out of the den - a good mom!
We had a fabulous send-off in our last night in Churchill: listened to a wolf pack howling under the Northern Lights right from the balcony of @ChurchillNSC! A great way to cap off a successful winter field season.
View from @ChurchillNSC now. We're waiting for our helicopter so we can head north to the sea ice not far away. Weather would have kept us from flying: we need low winds & sun to find polar bears. Flat light like today make it impossible to see tracks & that's how we find bears.
