@yzilber Yeah good divisive issue. Lot to criticize for anti-woke crowd. Woke crowd gets to wrap themselves in flag of sympathy for departed. Plus, he looks kind-hearted & childlike in a Michael Jackson kinda way.
Was visiting family in a college town this weekend, and noticed that pants (for girls) are still baggy but no longer high rise… basically the same jeans boys were wearing when I was in middle school.
Next up, low and skinny, circa 2000s?
@GodsFavRtard So much to hate here, but the suggestion that $25 gets “turned into” $175 (rather than $150 being stolen from your neighbors) might be the worst part
@nkreu113r (1) not bankrupt currently and still widely available; (2) “traditional ride share” (lol) is facing pressure as a whole due to AVs. Proves the point. Consumers have choice and power with regard to most consumer goods where dynamic pricing is relevant
@nkreu113r I will give you that there are markets without competition. Payors are mostly screwed in those markets anyway… but I suppose I support restricting dynamic pricing if competition is restricted
@SkyTexian@uncledoomer Amazing. I mean, there are thousands of fruiting plants… one of them contains the next banana, I’m sure. Just look at what bananas used to be pre-domestication!
Was a vestige of the pre woke post racist society of the 90s actually, when not every piece of media needed to be hyper-specialized to niche tastes. I liked it.
