@afneil A third of a teacher (1.5 days) is absolutely massive to many schools. Being able to give a part time teacher an extra 1.5 days delivering quality teacher lead interventions, for example, could make ALL the difference for disadvantaged children.
@anumness This is clearly not the UK but if it were, then to avoid embarrassing a teacher who may have a subject knowledge issue, the parent should have discreetly emailed the Head (or whichever appropriate member of SLT /subject lead) to alert them π€·ββοΈ

@Miss_Snuffy Don't stop when they can do it on their own!! Continue throughout the primary phase at the very least. Children need to hear the tunality of language, they need to hear literature being modelled by close adults & don'tstop reading picture books at times to your KS2 child...π
