So Asa signed a bill written to give special benefit to bogus, criminal Ecclesia College. Budget director at time says he advised against it as ill-advised local legislation. https://t.co/YwyXaQpJte
If only state government had been half as tough on Ecclesia College as it's being on a homeless guy without a computer who doesn't remember his user name and password and can't find his documents.
i honestly don't get why conservatives disparage poor people. lazy people? yes. criminals? yes. but just for being too poor to afford health insurance? and i don't get the supposed honor or virtue in punishing the poor by saying they get no health care and boasting of "savings."
and i'll tell you another thing i don't get: that people are gonna flock here with new jobs because a 6.9 percent top income tax rate goes to 5.9 percent. is that concept what we're willing to sacrifice a poor person's health care for?
i mean, seriously, this legislature we've got draws a line on a poor person who can't use a computer while it launders money through bogus colleges for kicking back to legislators. and professes some sort of moral superiority about it.
arkansas republican legislators say a food stamp and a medicaid card are disincentives to work, that poor people luxuriate in them before a box fan on a hot day. but the best disincentive to work i've seen lately is a special interest putting a state senator lawyer on retainer.
IF YOUR BOSS CAUSES YOU TO CONVULSE, QUIT. FROM WASH POST:
The move came after White House officials had raised the flag to full-staff earlier in the day, and Trump ignored almost a dozen shouted questions about McCain while White House staffers convulsed over his reaction.
Arkansas GDP growth ZERO in 2018:Q1. While subject to considerable future revision, the data suggest that the Arkansas economy got off to a slow start in early 2018. https://t.co/8a7e4D2XSF
The general elections in 3 months & @ArkDems are MIA & have no plan. Why‘s @MJGrayAR and @ArkDems silent and unseen? If they have no response to the joke editorial by @RepFrenchHill, they don’t deserve their positions. #permanentminority
