It is always a pleasure to meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State @DeputySecState, a true friend of Serbia, and an even greater pleasure on the occasion of the official launch of the Serbia–U.S. #StrategicDialogue, an important new chapter in the advancement of our bilateral relations.

The newly signed MoUs in the fields of #energy and #education represent concrete and tangible outcomes of the Strategic Dialogue, as well as a clear confirmation of our shared commitment to building a stronger, more dynamic, and future-oriented partnership.

We also discussed the considerable potential for further growth in American #investment in Serbia. The successful engagement of U.S. companies in landmark infrastructure projects provides a strong foundation for expanding our economic cooperation.

I particularly emphasized the important role of the United States in supporting #stability and #prosperity in our region and reaffirmed Serbia’s readiness to contribute to these shared goals.

I was honored to welcome my friend, Foreign Minister @markodjuric, and sign two Memoranda of Understanding that open the door to deeper and lasting engagement between our countries: one on energy and the other on education. On the eve of the opening of the first ever #Strategic #dialogue between Serbia and the U.S, I’m proud to announce that Serbia has officially joined the Artemis space accord by signing a series of cooperation agreements with @NASA. This milestone will open the door for our scientists, companies, and institutions to participate in one of the world's most advanced #space exploration programs.

This is a remarkable step for a country that is striving to build its future on #knowledge and #innovation and has given the world some of its greatest minds, including Nikola Tesla, Milutin Milanković, and David Vujić.

By joining the #Artemis community, Serbia stands alongside nations committed to exploring outer space in a peaceful, responsible, and transparent way, for the benefit of all humanity.

Sincere thanks to the United States and to NASA for their #trust and #partnership. The biggest breakthroughs in science have always come when people, ideas, and resources are brought together.

I was pleased to be able to host today in Belgrade the Secretary General of the @OSCE , @OSCESecGen.

I welcomed the OSCE’s meaningful support for Serbia’s #reform process on its #EU accession path, as well as the great #cooperation we have enjoyed with the Organization over the years.

Having in mind that the OSCE represents one of the key multilateral platforms, I was glad that Mr. Sinirlioğlu and I exchanged views on ongoing #regional developments and outstanding issues in the current global environment.

Portraying Serbia as an important contributor to #stability in this part of Europe, I emphasized that maintaining good-neighborly relations remains the backbone of our foreign policy.

Speaking about the #Belgrade–#Pristina #Dialogue, I reaffirmed our firm commitment to the process and expressed my hope that it will soon continue at the highest level, accompanied by the full implementation of the #agreements reached so far.

Europe’s #enlargement needs to be driven by results.

#Serbia continues to deliver: judicial #reforms aligned with the Venice Commission’s recommendations, active participation in EU and UN missions, a leading #economy accounting for more than half of the Western Balkans’ GDP, around 60% of all foreign direct investment in the region, and a strong economic #partnership with the EU as our largest trading partner.

These are not merely future intentions. They are concrete outcomes.

Membership would not create a new reality; it would formally recognise one that already exists. If the enlargement is to remain one of the #EU’s greatest strategic successes, then the merit-based principle should remain more than an aspiration, it should remain a practice.

Today’s #FoWB Summit in Rome was a constructive platform for highlighting Serbia’s ongoing reform efforts, reaffirming our commitment to the #EU integration process, and underscoring our role as a reliable partner and one of the key pillars of regional #stability.

We also addressed the broader geopolitical context, including the importance of keeping #enlargement high on the agenda and the potential the Western Balkans have in strengthening Europe’s #security and #resilience.

While discussing the latest developments in #KosovoandMetohija during today’s meeting with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue, Peter Sørensen, I underlined that the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities is fundamental to building the institutional capacity of the #Serb population and protecting its collective #rights.

Our focus stays on the earliest possible resumption of the #dialogue, followed by the full implementation of the #agreements already reached, despite the prolonged political instability in Pristina.
