A friend lends you $100 million. You invest the $100 million in the stock market and return 50% in 30 days. You give him back $120 million and keep $30 million. Why aren't more people doing this?
Ferrari said the goal of the Luce EV’s design was to achieve the lowest coefficient of drag.
The Luce has a 0.254 Cd.
For some comparison:
• Model S: 0.208 Cd
• Model 3: 0.219 Cd
• Model Y: 0.23 Cd
• Model X: 024 Cd
Just proves that having the lowest possible Cd doesn’t mean you have to design an ugly car.
@TI_Cough@DennisCW_ It would be 20k spread across a few years if you’re looking at opportunity cost. It’s just using credit to your benefit.. this has nothing to do with incremental money going into the market. But cheers on the model 3, i started with a 2018 M3 in 2019.
@TI_Cough@DennisCW_ Either you’re 1. Young and don’t know the benefits of driving a nice vehicle,
2. Or you’ve been convinced by slop thinking that driving a beater that gets you from point A to point B really benefits you in life and you need to “save/invest” all your money.
@TI_Cough@DennisCW_ Interesting closed-minded take. It's 43k—it's like a $500 finance/lease per month over a few years. And then it's still worth 30k-40k after a few years of fun in the most insane car ever (that fully self-drives). Anyone making decent money can afford this car.
@Steezehuman Get a new job. Only number here that seems unreasonable is your hourly. You really think you’re worth 18 bucks an hour? Less than a crisp 20 net taxes.
@Sandeman52 $NOW looks promising for solid returns, but full port or heavy allocation risky w/ current mkt moves. See potential correction or AI news victim.
