Feel the need to attempt to express my sympathies and concern for what Chris Johnson and his family have been dealing with from an emotional, mental, and physical standpoint with his ALS diagnosis at the age of just 39. It takes your breath away thinking about what he is possibly feeling given what he is facing, and his family holding on to hope and prayer that something can be done. It’s just soul shattering when you try to put yourself in their shoes. The fragility of life…nothing is taken for granted more, and this is yet another reminder of why that must change for all of us. Individually and collectively.
