Human rights are for everyone, everywhere - no matter who you are or whom you love.
We can all #StandUp4HumanRights and call out discrimination wherever we see it.
This #PrideMonth, stand up for the fair treatment of LGBTIQ+ people everywhere.

# of COVID deaths per year in Canada:
2020: 15,307
2021: 14,606
2022: 19,035
Let's get one thing straight: 2022 wasn't the year that we “learned to live with COVID.” It was the year we were told to ignore COVID while it continued to cause mass suffering, disability, and death.
We need every Canadian to fight Ontario's Bill 28. We cannot allow our rights to be stripped away.

Do you have 25-50000 a year per child for private education? That's what Lecce and Ford want you to pay for good education in #Ontario. Or we could fully fund our public education. Your choice. #Solidarity#39kIsNotEnough
The Ontario government says it has no choice but to pass a bill preventing a strike, because kids need to be in school so they can grow up, get jobs, and have their Charter rights taken away.
I am not an Ontarian, or a teacher, or an education assistant, but I have a perspective on the Ford government’s “Keeping Students in Schools Act”. I was Minister of Education in Alberta for 7 years, including the time the Charter was developed and enacted. #onted#onpoli
Just over a year ago, I read a paper which showed that when private equity buys nursing homes, death rates go up 10%. I was a med student at Stanford, but I halted my studies to investigate. Today, that investigation was published in @NewYorker https://t.co/cQzbWggk46
