I rated Hamnet 3.5 stars but I fully endorse giving it half a star. The way people overrated this film and Buckley performance is insane. Only the first act is interesting.

And it really looks like Annette was not having it 🤣. Also technically Bening lost twice to Emma Stone as well (along with Portman).

I meant that Portman also lost two races to Emma (she was a serious contender in 2023 and it was a passion project) but she at least has an Oscar but Bening would have faired better if she weren't hyped for 20th Century Women nor nominated for Nyad.

شفت مقطع لكويتي يتكلم عن تغيير المصطلحات في هذي المسألة بين الجيل القديم والجديد. مثلا القديم كانوا يقول فلان فيه ضوقة (ضيقة) وينصحونه ينفه عن نفسه وخلصنا أما الجيل الجديد صار يقول مكتئب واكتئاب ويكبر السالفة.

The mise en scène and harriet's actingmis as if Karin is ascending.

@filmprcris Are you sure? Weird since she was nominated in 1946 for Brief Encounter which came out in 1945. But I personally don't care about Oscar eligibility rules in my line ups but I don't go by festival releases.

I don't like laughing at other people's opinions but this is LOL for me. This is more than a dozen better supporting performances in 2023 than Foy in All of Us Strangers.

It is insane that Claire Foy is still not an Oscar nominee when First Man should have been an easy 1st nomination, and frankly she should have won for Women Talking AND All of Us Strangers ... in consecutive years.

Hopefully Danny Boyle's INK will do the trick this season.
