I've uninstalled twitter from my phone for the time being, so I might be slow to respond to dms or other stuff. Best to reach me via email or on facebook if a quick response is required.
Two days after Witkoff and Kushner met Putin, the Treasury Department partially suspended sanctions on Russia that were announced last October. What did the US get in return?

@anneapplebaum Russia sucks at most things, but they have mastered the art of manipulating the enemy into hurting themselves. The world's largest and best army could not protect the USA from information warfare. That is also the biggest russian/american-russian threat to the Europe.
Happy to lend a hand, @elonmusk, in your EU self-education journey. First-hand experience here , so here’s how democracy actually works:
1. EU laws? Made by elected parliamentarians - members of @Europarl_EN + all 27 democratic governments of EU. Think: House + Senate, but European.
2. Implementation? Done by @EU_Commission, like executives do in any democracy — under daily scrutiny from us, yours truly - directly elected EU-parliamentarians :)
3. Commission President @vonderleyen? Elected by Parliament. Can be fired by Parliament. Several have tried this year.
4. The whole @EU_Commission ? Appointed only after parliamentary hearings — like your Cabinet in the US.
5. More democracy? Always welcome!BUT the EU already ticks all the boxes.
Pro tip: Not everything you dislike is undemocratic.
You’re welcome.
God bless the EU. 🇪🇺❤️
"In Ukraine, the state itself is investigating the government, the cabinet, even the president’s closest advisers. By contrast, it is impossible to imagine Kash Patel’s FBI investigating anyone in Trump’s White House."

There are very few things in this world one can be as certain about as the fact that it is Trump and not Zelensky who has never seen or read any so-called “peace plan” that his incompetent cronies in alliance with Russians are now trying to impose on Ukraine.
Not a single millisecond was spent to actrually read either the “19 points,” let alone the "28" - just as he has never actually seen his own new U.S. National Security Strategy - I know it, you know it.
My friend from Russia is terribly concerned about European censorship. He would tweet this himself but X is banned in his country so I am doing it for him.
Dear USA, happy #NoKingsDayOct18th!
May you find your way back to being an at least semi-functional democracy where every single day "no kings!" is a self-evident truth again and not something that needs to be protested for vigorously.
keep doing that until they actually have to start paying a price for it.
The way to stop russia's aggressions is to defeat them in Ukraine. If other European countries want to be safe from this terrible neighbor, their most effective strategy is to support Ukraine even more now.
Here's why #Russia sent a bunch of cheap drones into Poland:
It's an extremely cost-effective way to try to influence European decisions in russia's favor. russia wants expensive air defense systems to sit around idly in European countries, it doesn't want them in Ukraine 1/n
continue to do so. One of the big goals of that effort is to get Western Nations to stop helping Ukraine. That is their only path to victory. It's the only arena where they've had a big success in recent years (the election of Trump). From their perspective, it makes sense to 5/n
@USEmbassyBern Thank you! We will always remember fondly back when you were a reliable ally and a functional democracy under the rule of law, rather than today's murderous cleptocratic faschist clown show. Those were the days, ey? I hope you find your way back to sanity...
#openforbusiness
The @POTUS says "he could be stupid and turn down a free plane."
You'd have to be stupid to believe that a $400 million plane, offered by a foreign government, is "free."
