Perfect idea until Jack decides he wants something that isn’t cake then everyone decides to invent some form of universally-accepted medium of exchange
Glad to hear @Keir_Starmer defending free speech and criticising the no-platforming of those we may not agree with at #PMQs. I hope that means all women, including academics and @UKLabour membership groups such as @LabWomenDec, previously denied a platform at Labour Conference?
Such a good piece. Most people knew Boris was untrustworthy but what everyone should know is that Starmer can’t be trusted either. He swings from one to the other without any respect to voters.
@henrywinter@BBC@GaryLineker His values? Henry, you’ve been in the business long enough to know about his values. I don’t care about what he said recently but he certainly doesn’t deserve this lionisation.
@v_j_freeman@SoniaPoulton What happened to her? I remember journalists who I had to work with between 2008 and 2012 told me that I ought to read her book on Boris.
@neoconpapi@michaelpforan I work in finance. She was never an economist but I believe she ran IT projects for a retail banks. How she propelled herself to be the go-to-guru on investment banking issues is unclear.
@v_j_freeman “Supposed” is the operative word here. She used to run IT projects for a retail bank. We were and remain surprised how that identity changed but the environment was also a trigger for that morphing.
Just a reminder that Pippa shouted and screamed at one of our reporters for just doing their job. She also tried to get him excluded from a press briefing. She never apologised. There is a recording.
@v_j_freeman She is not burdened with reflection and thinking. During Covid, at a time when ethnic minority communities were reticent about the vaccines—despite their higher death rates—, she was on the Jeremy Vine show denigrating vaccines.
@Number10cat You are an out of work actor declaring that someone who worked in technical finance doesn’t know Maths. Fair is foul and foul is fair, isn’t it?
