THE HOWES EFFECT: After one year as the Cibola HC, David Howes led the Cougars to more games than the last two seasons combined. Now, four of his players have signed to play collegiately: LB Hayes Baum (UNM), WR Danny Triplett (Sterling College), DB Jalil Dixon (WNMU), and DB Julio Gutierrez (McPherson College). Something else to note, DL Isaac Behrens (class of 2027) looks like a D1 guy. Pretty cool stuff. Cibola will be a ton of fun to watch.
