I’ve always thought that VOD review structure is shit.
I’m proposing something I think might be better. Project-like reviews. Software facilitated. Each person can contribute to the review remotely. All synced. Support of multiple povs, draw overlay, replay parsing for stats / game time sync, etc.
The goal is to see what happens when you have all the tools you could ever want to facilitate extremely thorough reviews. Maybe it’s better, maybe it’s not. But it’s interesting.
League first class support. Everything else second class.
I stopped working on mechanics trainer to do this.
Got accepted into the @ycombinator S26 batch as @ParasmaAI with no product, no revenue, no cofounder and not being from the US.
If you have a great idea, just apply!
90% of work has been on bot/backend so far.
This is the current frontend. I don't hate it. I don't like it either.
It is.. functional. Utilitarian, if you will.
vector on queued button is a lil animation.
If OWL dies, and I think it will, I'll develop the necessary infrastructure for tournaments, leagues, etc, and open source it all.
Grass roots is where the game started and it's most certainly where the game should have stayed.
Important announcement.
This is the legally binding license that the source code will be released under.
Please familiarize yourself.
This is super serious.
After checking with both Canadian and American lawyers, about 2/3 of my contract with Realm was/is non-binding due to whoever drafting it not knowing what they're doing.
I will be rewriting Circus and open sourcing it. For most games.
