Grandmother, on right, lived her life in poverty.
Mother, on left, lost most of her children; 3 died as babies and 4 of them left & never came home.
Daughter, in middle, emigrated and struggled with anti-immigrant prejudice, yet made a better life for herself.
RIP 💚

Still hearing people use "we didn't know where to find diverse talent" as a RUBBISH excuse. SO... I've pulled together some resources of ways to connect with #Film#TV#Talent from under-represented groups.

@duckrabbitblog @gjmccarthy Talking about trauma in photogs/editors (and not this particular issue) it is also very recognised that people can have massive psychological effects from the guilt of feeling like they’re not feeling enough. People privately handle trauma differently and that is ok.
Those we've rescued at sea have names, faces, families, friends, dreams, strengths & flaws.
They're more than numbers & simply don't deserve to drown.
