Vary hugely by state. Total monthly package (salary + allowances): ₹50,000 – ₹3.5 lakh+.
• Highest: Odisha (~₹3.45L), Telangana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand.
• Mid: UP, Karnataka, Delhi (~₹1-2L).
• Lower: Kerala, Bihar (~₹70k).
Plus ₹2-5 Cr annual LAD fund + perks + pension. Each state decides its own pay. Check state assembly site for latest.
