@jamb_hq @Regino_Chuks The NIMC 2026 Act has been signed into Law. I SINCERELY PLEAD: Allow those of us who took JAMB before 2021 use it to correct our DoB or apply directly for NYSC mobilisation. There has got to be a way around this. @profsegunaina

However, I respectfully wish you could have a one-on-one conversation with a student who experienced what the previous JAMB administration put him through over a DoB correction.

@jamb_hq @nigimmigration @jamb_hq kindly allow candidates who sat for UTME before 2021 to use their NIN to correct their Date of Birth, especially to resolve NYSC mobilisation challenges.
With the NIMC Act 2026 now made a LAW, please make this concession to affected graduates.

The NIMC act of 2026 has been signed into Law (read about it when you can), and no Government-owned organisation in Nigeria is above it.

@Mr_Virtue_VAG @officialnyscng JAMB's duty is ADMISSIONS and MATRICULATION, not GRADUATION. JAMB's work should be to prove that a GRADUATE gained admission and matriculated at 16 yrs or above based on whatever DoB it is presented with as extracted from the Nat'l Database. That way, JAMB can tell a legit DoB.

@officialnyscng The NIN/NIMC is the ULTIMATE and MOST SUPREME source of any living Nigerian's identity and shouldn't be bypassed when registering a graduate for the NYSC.

Legally, NYSC is to source information about a prospective corp member entirely from NIMC, not JAMB.

What process is more thorough than the capturing of finger prints and facial recognition of a NIGERIAN onto a NATIONAL DATABASE? Tell me.

The Presidency has already signed the NIMC 2026 act into Law, and yet @jamb_hq hasn't reviewed their policies by allowing from 2021 backwards to bind our registration with our NIN to facilitate NYSC mobilisation.

@jamb_hq @jamb_hq pls the @nimc_ng is now the root source of a citizen's biodata. It is even a LAW now. It must be respected. I have been trying to correct my DoB for many years now. Pls can you respect the NIMC database and allow me effect the change? This is for @officialnyscng

The NIMC 2026 act has been signed into LAW as the most authoritative source of a Nigerian’s biodata. @officialnyscng should not be an exception to the application of the NIMC 2026 act for DoB. Some of us sat for JAMB before NIN began to be used for registration.
