@hughosmond @MartinDaubney While it’s trendy & convenient to demonise public workers, the perverse is true - they have no automatic right to furlough and many are working through juggling childcare & pay stagnation, with annual leave cancelled etc. I’m not sure what you gain from perpetuating this idea?

@Independent He’s speaking sense on this. We all want to protect our elderly, but if we want to protect them longer term we have to vaccinate the “superspreaders” not those shielding away indoors dutifully. NHS workers, students, delivery drivers - that’s where we need to go next.

Tbf Europe lost any claim to ethnic hegemony when it conquered 1/4 of the globe. There are minority communities that thrive & are proud of their cultures. And there are ppl who choose to mix. We can all coexist.

@NormanBrennan And what drives these crimes? You have to dig a little deeper if you really want to fix the problem. Is it just “race” or is there any link with poverty? Also it’s a predominantly male and youth offence but I rarely see anyone calling out those characteristics for attention 🤔

How it became common in British discourse is baffling. Putting ppl into categories based on some perceived difference in their skin/ DNA is outdated & lazy

What this means is a whole lot of people taking annual leave and unpaid parental leave to care for children. Not the great get back to work scheme the govt claims

@HoggSupremacy @Michonskye @WMPolice If my child sent hateful msgs to ppl, I would. An arrest doesn’t mean prosecution. The ppl who see those msgs don’t know they‘re from a 12yr old, & they can be really frightening. Age of crim responsibility is 10. I’d also wonder if social services should be involved tbh
