This is insane! Special Education students already have Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) due to their needs. That's fine because those are the most fragile students. However, it is a very time-consuming process. Byron Donalds and his wife are now proposing that teachers create individualized plans for all students, which would take time away from real planning and teaching and overburden teachers with unnecessary bureaucratic work! It's obvious that Byron Donalds and his wife have never set a foot in a classroom and don't know the least about education. I speak from experience. I have taught for 32 years. I have taught special education students, created IEPs for each one of them, and I also a special needs daughter who had an IEP when she was in school.

Good, then they can stop spending millions on tech contracts, and surveillance equipment that militarize our schools, manipulate and spy on kids, and they can revert to a method that produces better educational outcomes: Paper, Pencil, Reusable Textbooks.

The added benefit: personal data will not get hacked, ransomed, and kids will stop losing days of instructional time due to wifi, connectivity, and computer issues.
