Here’s how the City is preparing for tonight’s forecasted weather:
-Street crews are pretreating bridges today
- 5 operators will report at 7 p.m. to monitor bridges, roads, & known hotspots
-Crews will continue monitoring conditions and adjust the plan as needed

Reminder for Topeka utility customers: On Jan. 1 water rates will increase slightly as scheduled, & the “Readiness to Serve” charge will return to its former name “Base Charge”.
This is a name change only, not an extra fee. Jan/Feb bills may show both names due to prorating.
