Sloan is a student at Occidental College studying Urban and Environmental Policy. Sloan has spent the summer with us utilizing research from our sister entity @urbinden to create fun videos aiming to create awareness of local issues relating to urban design.
In this important public infrastructure project with HDR Engineering, Civilitude designed and permitted multi-phased traffic control plans. This project is partially funded by the 2020 City of Austin Mobility bond, and construction is set to be completed in 2026.
Construction has officially begun for the Longhorn Dam Bridge off of north Pleasant Valley Road. The “wishbone” shape will connect three different points of the Butler Hike and Bike trail, creating a north-to-south connection on the east side of the trail.

Several of our team members cycled with @hypaustin on their Affordable Housing Bike Tour this past Saturday, organized by one of our very own graduate engineers, Evana Wang! 20 folks attended, leaving more knowledgeable about the key factors affecting Austin's affordability.

Nick will be joining us as a drafting intern. Previously, he worked at Meta as a Systems Project Manager. Having been in Austin for two decades, Nick loves catching a live show at the city’s many live music venues.
