NEWS: 🇨🇦 6'8 F Nana Owusu-Anane worked out for the Toronto Raptors today, per his agent @Cj_Ward of @LIFTSPORTSMNGMT. Owusu-Anane quietly has one of the strongest analytical profiles in this draft class - he joined Yaxel Lendeborg, Morez Johnson Jr., Flory Bidunga, Motiejus Krivas, & Rueben Chinyelu as the only players in the COUNTRY this season to have a:
• DRAPM of over 4.5
• DWS/40 of over 0.10
• WARP of over 6.0
That's elite company for the former Brown & GCU standout, who also ranked in the 98th percentile of all D1 players with a +24.2/100 net rating differential when he was on the floor vs. off it. Skilled, high motor forward who can shoot the ball!!

Nigerian-American Ebuka Okorie 🇳🇬 🇺🇸 rise in basketball wasn’t loud, it was built.
Dr. Ijeoma Okorie (Ebuka Okorie’s mother) was a key force in his early development constantly pushing him, encouraging his academics, and supporting endless trips to the YMCA.
Together with his father Mr. Charles Okorie, they even built a backyard court in Nashua, NH to fuel his growth.
While most prospects chased exposure online, Ebuka's father took a different route no highlight culture, no social media noise. Just work, humility, and letting the game speak.
Now Ebuka Okorie is projected as a first-round NBA pick. The message from his Nigerian parents was simple: if you’re really that guy, the game will talk for you. And it finally did.

Ebuka Okorie's mom, Dr. Ijeoma Okorie, explains her son's early love for basketball.
He'd make multiple trips to the YMCA every day. They built a court in the backyard.
Now, he's a projected first round NBA draft pick.

Nashua's Ebuka Okorie is staying in the NBA Draft, as expected.
The deadline to withdraw was midnight.
His father, Charles, on this decision:
"Nothing to prove."
"The best situation you need to put him in is to tell him 'you can't do it.'"

I had Joson Sanon as a first round pick during the first half of the 2024-25 CBB season.
The man has elite shot making skills. Very disappointing year for him at St. John’s, but I expect him to have a big year playing alongside Finley Bizjack at WVU.
