@qrsupport hello I have a flight booked LHR-BNE Australia for 1st May whilst 34 weeks pregnant. I know I must have my medical certificate and Medif forms but the website doesn’t specify where I have to submit the MEDIF form 7 days -48hrs prior to travel.

I can’t contact anyone to get approval for changing my departure port. I’ve called the Australian border force and they have not been helpful, I’ve re-applied for a new exemption. I need to sort this out prior to leaving obviously. What can I do here?

@VickiTreadell Can I ask if you can help me leave the country to get back to the Uk? I’ve applied for an exemption which was approved on the basis of being an NHS worker living in the UK. Due to the change in flights/cancellations my departure port has now changed obviously and

@chantalannette what did they say about Qatar flights price rise. I was disgusted by it but told by Qatar they had no control. Hmm. Interested in what you have heard.

@ukinaustralia @VickiTreadell SOOOOOO for those hoping to return to the UK.. all qantas seats are now gone. And all Qatar seats have now gone up in price by $1000Aud. This seems like a drastic change. Also about 1 in 3 of the Qatar flights end up being cancelled?!?

I suspect it’s still on its way to Perth because it’s bringing people back. Will we know if the other 3 dates are still going ahead now we’ve ironed out this teething issue?

@djboden1 @ukinaustralia @Qantas It’s unofficial yet even though it is on the qantas website. Suspect more will be updated on this tomorrow in the next day or so. Currently only single cabin class, and unclear whether a chartered govt flight or a “regular” qantas flight. The call centre have been told little yet

@VickiTreadell Does the Australian travel ban apply to dual citizens of Australia and UK? I had returned to Aus from the UK where I am a doctor in the NHS and looking to return to work. I am also now in isolation and wondering if I can leave the country prior to this??
