@BootsUK is giving its staff pin badges and birthday cake – and has launched an exhibition – to mark its 175th anniversary, it has told C+D.
@AmyJaneBarnes Boots offered both a picture framing department as well as framed prints. I’m afraid I don’t have an exact date but I think both were likely to have started in the 1890s as an affordable way to decorate homes. Some stores had art showrooms.
