@k8shep Hello! Sounds great. She needs to be foregrounded. She's been so overlooked. I found her in my archive forays and she needs to come out of the shadows. One brief mention of her in Alberti's book but that's it (I think).
It's so good to have photos of these people and foreground them. I'm on a side mission with Mary Shaw in this regard who succeeded Winifred Compton at Manchester Museum but does not appear in, for e.g. Who Was Who in Egyptology.
@object_lessons @poisonchallis @GabeMoshenska @ClareLewi15@UCLHistory The book is actually going to be published on the 10th July! Watch this space for more... https://t.co/rzXMtQbMmh

Our need for connection has been hijacked by Big Tech companies, fueling disinformation and polarization. The opposite of what a democracy should be. Time to #ReclaimOurRights.
Please share the video and spread the word: https://t.co/9P0GRFBMP1
Is it wrong to want lunch at 9 am when you have been up, dressed and doing things since 3.30am? The joys of insomnia, but the upside is I watched the sun rise from Parliament Hill.🌄🌇
Final proofs all done. Looking forward to the book coming out this summer with 13 great chapters alongside ones by me and my wonderful co-editor @GabeMoshenska
RT this if you stand shoulder to shoulder with every nurse, postie, university worker, rail worker and every union member striking and saying Enough is Enough.
History will not look kindly on those who sit on the fence.
It’s us and them now.
Join a picket line.
Interesting how my 'based on what you liked' suggestions have shifted - now 95% based on tweets about how wonderful some form of (speculative) technology is + supporting Elon Musk's views of the world. I have absolutely zero interest in these tweets.
So true. I did one of my Masters at Birkbeck. It was the only space where I, as working mother - with two v. young children at the time - could (and was welcome to) study a masters in a subject I had always loved and wanted to study more. Such a precious and inclusive space.
