@MartinSLewis It was 1998 and my then boyfriend was working away in Northern Ireland. Part way through his five night stay they moved hotel but he didn’t register it was over the border and continued to ring me every night. £204 in international charges later we were a little shocked!! 😱
Thank you for your fantastic support last night for the team! 🫶
We move on together to the league cup final on Sunday at Newmarket Town.

Appealing to all my (limited I know) Twitter people! Please vote for Tigi for goal of the month - as a defender it may be the only one she gets all season!! 😄
Come on @TheRAC_UK I totally understand being very busy and short staffed but at least be honest about realistic timescales and if there is a 36 hour wait then say so, giving customers the opportunity to go elsewhere!
@_tigirobson_ hope they finally get to you by noon as stated!!
Before you send a negative text/email to your coach, take a pause and consider the following - They're volunteers not employees, they don't have to do what they're doing and for most of them they do it because it's fun. Do you know what is going on in their life? their work, their family? They already know they could improve on their coaching and their admin but struggle with time due to work and family commitments.
They are basically the ones that stepped forward when the team needed help. Sometimes a well intentioned message can be received as the last straw, remember they don't have to do what they're doing and if they leave after this message is there anyone else that will do what they do? Maybe, or maybe not.
Your coach is unlikely to have the knowledge of Ferguson, the tactical competence of Pep. They're also doing everything they do to keep things running around their already hectic life, their kids, their job and sometimes can forget things or make honest mistakes.
Now back to that text, how about you start it with Hey Coach, thanks for what you do, is there anything I can help with.....
@simonharris_mbd Is this the type that’s flat one side and curvy the other so by the non law of averages you always get it round the wrong way first go?…or have the android chargers evolved from this?
Still guaranteed to try the USB the wrong way twice (how is that even possible?!) 😂
