HOTTY TODDY!
Here is a good friend of mine whose blood ran Red and Blue. He was an Ole Miss REBEL to the core. See what he wrote on his Armored Personnel Carrier?
This is a picture of him as a U. S. Marshall. This was taken at the 71 day siege at Wounded Knee in 1973. The Indians had taken over the town, and they were shooting at the Marshalls. The Marshalls at first used dump trucks, backed nearly a mile down the road. They cut slits in the steel tailgate for firing ports. They later "acquired" National Guard APC's.
This picture ought to be in the Ole Miss Hall of Fame. It IS in mine, now!!!
Hotty Toddy to a fine REBEL, and a friend of mine.
SHILOH, FAULKNER, FOOTE, AND I
I leave very early tomorrow morning to go to Shiloh to give a tour on Sunday, and then to give another one on Monday. I have unknowingly followed in Shelby Foote's footsteps for much of my life.
I knew that Shelby had gone to Shiloh on the 90th anniversary of that Battle in 1952. His publisher had released his novel, Shiloh on Sunday April 6, 1952. Shelby was very proud to go to the Battlefield anniversary that day. I knew he had stopped by Oxford and Mr. Faulkner had joined him on that trip. I had hoped that someday, some way I might find a picture of those two there at Shiloh.
About two years ago I was poking around on the internet, and there this picture was! I had found another one of the needles in a haystack, that I had found several times before. "Seek and ye shall find!" A Lady had taken her camera along that day, and she had taken a roll of pictures. She of course recognized Mr. Faulkner. She probably had no idea who Mr. Foote was. She donated this picture a few years ago to the Rhodes College archives, to be with the rest of their Shelby Foote papers.
Here they both were, at Shiloh! So tomorrow, I will go to Shiloh. Mr. Foote and Mr. Faulkner will go along with me, having preceded me there before I was even born. I go with friends.
That is of course a young Mr. Foote on the right, dark haired and beardless.

hopeGBP is a Money Market + fund with a 10% allocation to $STRC.
As of this morning, STRC is now contributing only 0.15% annualised vol to the portfolio with a 1.15% yield contribution.
That means STRC is now beating many of our "best in class" money market funds on a volatility basis, with 4x the yield...

$SATA and @Strive we look forward to welcoming you soon🤝
*Note we scrape end of day so these are yesterdays figures, tomorrow we should be mid pack in vol terms with a 70+bps yield uplift.
@Ropell Yes, because a synagogue is not Israel. It is extremely important we separate the actions of a foreign government from an American synagogue, or any synagogue.
Ladies, you need to be wearing cotton underwear.
Polyester underwear on dogs tanked their progesterone 90 PERCENT from 50 ng/ml to 5 ng/ml...and 75% of them couldn't get pregnant.
Polyester creates an electrostatic field that disrupts hormone production
