I really enjoyed 'Backrooms'. Imaginative, hypnotic and cryptic in a purely pleasurable way. Saw it with a full house, 9pm on a Sunday night. It's different from 'The Blair Witch Project' but I was reminded of seeing that film on its opening weekend and, similarly, how you could hear a pin drop in a packed house. Great to see young filmmakers and new horror movies keeping the big-screen experience in rude health. Bring it on.

Did I cry a little recording this episode? Yes. Did I tear up even more when editing it? Also yes. Respect to Wil for being so open with his emotions in the wake of Rob Reiner’s untimely death and the Oscars tribute.
Today is the last chance to order The Thing Expanded and have your name in the credits.
It has been an extraordinary journey, and I could not be prouder of the film we have made.
This is the story I wanted to tell.
The story of a science-fiction masterpiece.
Or horror.
Love this photo of my first book (and a great-looking Shaun) at @horrorhound in Cincinnati where my publisher is selling both of my tomes and all the other wonderful @1984Prods releases
Last week, I visited @BretEastonEllis to talk about my horror movie book Screaming and Conjuring for his podcast. The American Psycho author proved the perfect host, in every sense. If you want to hear Part 1 of our conversation, here is the link: https://t.co/D5tIK4Bsqc
