@WallaseyChess How do you go about joining the club as a Junior? I can't find contact details on the website. If someone could advise I would be grateful. Thanks
Alhamdullilah, all praise to God 💚 33 handkerchiefs in total were sent through the #TravellingSuitcase by 33 Wirral schools! What a wonderful achievement by the future generations in helping to create a message of peace, love and welcome! #refugeeweek2022
Year 3 enjoyed having the travelling suitcase. We read the powerful poem ‘Refugees’ by Brian Bilston. We also read some stories about refugees and discussed what we could do to welcome refugees. @SchsofSanctuary@slswirral@CentreDeen@StAndrewsCESch @brian_bilston
Jemison were excited to see the ‘Traveling Suitcase’ this morning. We talked about what being a refugee means and what it might feel like. We thought about what we might take if we had to leave our homes suddenly. #RefugeeWeek2022@SchsofSanctuary
Year 6 had a lovely time this week looking at work contributed from other schools to the @CentreDeen. Our work joined the suitcase before it moved to the next school on it’s journey @CulturalCurric1@Bedford_Drive
Busy making white paper flowers for our Srebrenica display at Birkenhead Central Library. We want to make 8372 flowers, 1 for each Muslim killed in July '95. We have churches & schools but if you'd like to help pls DM @WirralDeen@CentreDeen@SrebrenicaUK@SrebrenicaNW

Year 6 had a morning of reflection, looking at work contributed from other schools to the @CentreDeen. Today, our work joins the suitcase before it moves to the next school on its journey @CulturalCurric1@Bedford_Drive
We have loved having the #travellingsuitcase at our school. All of our children have enjoyed listening to stories/poems about refugees and belonging #refugeeweek. We have created our very own handkerchief which will be passed around schools across Wirral and will be built upon 💛
Y4 enjoyed opening and exploring the 'Travelling Suitcase' today. It helped us understand more about refugees. Scarlett and Darcey added their thumbprint to the handkerchief when they visited the Wirral Deen Centre for the 'Big RE day'. @CulturalCurric1@REBedfordDrive1
Thank you @thingwallprima1 for the 'Travelling Suitcase'. We have enjoyed the texts and showing our love and support for refugees and asylum seekers with our unique handkerchief. Well done school council ♥️ @Heart4Refugees@CentreDeen@slswirral@wirralmeas
