@RBReich Your instincts are good and there actually is a vitally important civil class action pending on this issue. My firm is fighting for the injunctive relief necessary to restore competition. https://t.co/KKUqnNf9Fo
“The arbitration system is overwhelmingly rigged against individual human beings in favor of corporations." -@FPBland
Check out this important piece below via @TheProspect, detailing the latest tactic from conservative pro-business groups to promote forced arbitration ⬇️
This may be our first Editorial in the nearly two decades of the blog’s existence. The Supreme Court should decimate Texas’ original action seeking to invalidate the results of others states’ votes.
@michiganalumni@DrMarkSchlissel Dr Schlissel asked alumni to give feedback and suggestions re handling the pandemic. In my experience, it has been impossible to have a meaningful dialogue with the school on this. Who should we contact?
@michiganalumni@DrMarkSchlissel Very disappointed in the Q and A. Trump like disengagement from reality by Dr. S who essentially lauded the school’s handling of the pandemic as a success. It’s been a total failure. Other Big 10 schools handled far better, and their freshman are welcome on campus as a result.
@JmargHP @kzoobaseball@coachott7 @astonekzoo @hal_morris@AndrewMargolick Congratulations Jake, I'm so thrilled for you! And as one of your biggest fans, the Hornets cap I just ordered will be worn with pride often!
The House passing the FAIR Act, to #EndForcedArbitration, is a historic and gigantic victory for workers, consumers, investors, patients and America generally.
WOW!
I handled my first appeal fighting arbitration in 1998. It's been a long time coming
Great piece by @kifleswing -- forced arbitration is terrible for consumers, and everyone should opt out of arbitration for the new Apple Card https://t.co/iRSizOh0l7
@FPBland@Chase@clalegal The impact of forced arbitration is, unfortunately, deep and wide. EG,the use of these clauses in the high tech sector has made it difficult for private antitrust enforcement to occur. So it's not surprising abuse of market power in the tech sector has become such a big problem
