Job title inflation feels like a real thing. I see LinkedIn titles go from 'Customer Assistant' to 'Principal Senior AI Consultant' with no steps between. Meteoric rise does not cover it.
After a fair amount of research into NAS builds, I went with a pre-built solution. Why? Consumer parts were difficult to find within the budget, and currently, I want simplicity while gathering all my data in one place. Saved ~£800 as well.
Last night, I set up Proxmox VE on my old hardware to start a homelab/k8s cluster/ML testbed. I was very impressed with how simple the setup was. Now to find an old GPU that hasn't been mined on.
@coamithra I didn't even know they had a programming language. :D I'm curious, what was this language trying to solve? (asked as someone who had read no docs on it)
Looking at brushing up on a programming language again. Not sure whether to give Go or Rust a go or learn some of the new features of C++2+ or C#. Spoilt for choice
Amazon and I have varying definitions of what new means. I prefer my new books not to have:
- An already broken spine
- Dirty finger marks around the entire book
- Frayed cover edges.
Out of the last 8-10 books I ordered, I have had to return/replace 3 of them.
I finished another coding competition on #CodeForces. I enjoy the challenge but problem-solving in a competitive environment is something I am unfamiliar with and currently, do not excel at.
