I was in one of your London stores at lunchtime today looking for a sandwich or a wrap for lunch.

Every single one of the wraps, sandwiches and flatbreads that I looked at contains folic acid, according to the ingredients list. Including the "wholemeal" ones.

I'm a middle aged man and therefore the chance of me ever carrying a baby at risk of neural tube defects is zero.

Aside from that, folic acid is a known risk to people suffering from cancer, people with heart stents, people deficient in Vutamin B12, and people with kidney and liver disease.

Why are you participating in the mass medication of your customers?

And please don't hide behind "the government made us do it". Unless you are just an arm of government now, incapable of independent thought?

Or "all the other meal deal sandwich sellers are doing the same".

Aren't you supposed to be a health and beauty store?

.@Tobias_Ellwood listened to you say today that people wouldn't mind paying an extra 1p on tax once it was explained that it was for the defence of the country. Well sorry to burst your bubble but in a country with the highest tax rates for decades I will not accept a 0.1p increase until;

* Migrants are stopped
*Houses and allowances and benefits to migrants are scrapped
* Money being spent on things like rainbow flags, pride events, trans ideology teaching etc is scrapped
* net zero is scrapped including the £22bn for carbon captire
* Green levies are removed from my energy bills
* International aid is scrapped

Let me know when all of my wasted money is clawed back and we can talk...

It’s odd isn’t it that politicians never stop harping on about how unsustainable the Triple Lock pension is but they never ever harp on about allowing illegals into our country that’s costing £billions.

They’ve wasted £billions on benefits but never harp on about cutting it.

Image for a moment that you are one of the 411 MP’s sitting on the Labour parliamentary benches. You have an enormous majority of 172 seats. Effectively your party is in a powerful position from a political perspective.

Unfortunately the party leader fails to connect to the wider public and it is deemed necessary to move him on. Ordinarily what would then occur is a search to find a successor amongst the other 410 MP’s.

That did not occur. Someone decided that a mayor in Manchester should be parachuted into parliament to become leader of this nuclear armed 7th richest country on Earth. Who was it that decided that? Who greenlighted this WEF stooge? What have they instructed him to do? Why is this being allowed to take place?

If Andy Burnham wants to become PM it should be done by way of calling an immediate election. Coronations are for the Royal Families.

Meanwhile, those 410 MP’s should be ashamed that this has been allowed to happen. What is now clear is that the concept of a parliamentary democracy is well and truly busted.

Dartmoor's hill ponies have grazed those commons for longer than there has been a country called England. Fewer than a thousand are left, down from six thousand a generation ago. The United Nations listed them as endangered in 2023. So, naturally, the body charged with protecting nature has decided to get rid of nine in ten of the survivors.

There is a process, obviously.

Natural England's new grazing contracts now count the ponies in the same bucket as the cattle and sheep. A commoner with a fixed quota has a choice: keep a semi-wild pony worth nothing at market, or use the slot for a lamb he can sell. Guess which one survives the spreadsheet. The rest are gathered in the autumn drifts, and with nowhere to put thousands of unhandled moorland ponies, the next stop is the abattoir.

Natural England would like it noted that it has not ordered a cull. It has merely built a machine whose only output is a cull, switched it on, and handed the bolt gun to a farmer so the fingerprints land elsewhere. Very tidy.

And now the funny part. The pony is the best tool on the entire moor for eating Molinia, the coarse purple grass strangling Dartmoor into a brown monoculture. Cattle and sheep won't touch it. The ponies hoover it down and clear the ground for the orchids, the wildflowers and the insects behind them. Remove the ponies and the moor chokes into precisely the lifeless scrubland the contract was meant to prevent.

So the conservation strategy, in full: protect the habitat by deleting the animal that maintains the habitat. A masterclass.

Better still, Natural England's own Fursdon review looked at this exact question and told them, in plain English, not to lump ponies in with cattle and not to cut pony numbers. They read it, praised it, said they fully supported it, then did the precise opposite.

Four thousand years these animals have run Dartmoor with no committee and no contract. They could be gone within one, and the people who did it will write it up as a win for nature.

in all my 56 years living in Great Britain, I've never seen people so angry with what's become of our once great country. everything is failing, from local councils to national government. from the nhs to the bbc.

the police force are a joke, the armed services have been depleted by successive governments, schools are full of left wing woke ideology.

our government cares more about the rights of illegal immigrants, than it does British citizens.

they give farmers of foreign countries millions while hammering British farmers with an unfair inheritance tax.

we are a Christian country with Christian values that's slowly been eradicated in favour of a religion still in the 6th century.

i truly worry for the safety and future for my grand kids.
