As a creator, I used to think like this, but I’ve long met enough readers, of my work and others, to know the majority of people save, reread, print, use and dissect every panel of their favorite series, and will stop at this to appreciate.
Keep those people in mind.

There are limits to what can be whatever
Even if perfection can’t be achieved,
As art becomes a part of who we are
Expressions that need attention or tension
Not just blind faith
@ContentViewer9 Part of it has to do with creating healthy dialogues so everyone has a trusted way of setting their own boundaries to learn from
Instead of immediately becoming transphobic when everyone has feelings and maybe started out looking for love
Giving a voice where there isn’t one
This scene in "Persepolis" spoke to me because it was very much me as a teen in Tehran in the 2000s: fuchsia hair under my hijab, a Linkin Park CD sold by a bootleg music guy blasting in my ears, Chuck Taylors, and a hoodie with the Grim Reaper on it.🖤
