Honestly, I’m glad we don’t have to associate KDH, Fatawu and Periera with this season, can’t have their Leicester legacy’s tainted, Fatawu and Ricky are lucky they’re injured 😂 #LCFC#LeicesterCity#EPL#EFL
Doku should be able to go to his child’s birth, when will he ever see his firstborn being born again? His country will be fine without him for week, they’ve got back up wingers and the manager was probably notified about this before the World Cup.

🚨👶 Jérémy Doku could temporarily leave Belgium's World Cup camp to be present for the birth of his son, and the debate has exploded across Europe. 🇧🇪
French journalist France Pierron didn't hold back:
🗣️ Pierron: "Are you seriously telling me these players have sacrificed everything to come to the World Cup, and you're leaving just to cut an umbilical cord? 😳
You're lucky enough to play in a World Cup. It's an incredible privilege, and hundreds of footballers would do anything to be in your position. That opportunity might never come around again in your life.
And you're going to throw it all away just to attend your child's birth?
It's a moment where the father isn't really needed. He has a symbolic role. You hold her hand and take a photo. And then what?
You're going to miss 10 hours, experience an emotional high, and be exhausted afterwards. You can't miss a World Cup.
Some people may have gone into debt just to get to the World Cup, maybe sacrificed everything to be there, and you're leaving to cut an umbilical cord..." 😳
The reaction has completely split fans. Some believe family comes before everything, while others see the World Cup as an opportunity that may never come around again. 🌍
What would you do: stay with your national team or be there for your son's birth? 🤔
@DennisC77103264@joshhollandLCFC I know, but if he doesn’t leave I’d rather him sign a new contract than us get nothing from him. Priority should be selling him
@thfc_js Pickford was commanding that defence, exactly what we need. Also, it’s the first game and we’re still in the group stage, he’s gonna stick players on to keep fitness and make sure they’re all match ready
@VictoryOwai Honestly, madueke was class, but I reckon if he was in that n10 position more with Bellingham more of an inside winger, he’d have probably set up/scored a goal. Definitely prefer him to Saka right now
@XtraLeicester@thetimes For Leeds point to stand, Everton would’ve had to have had that points deduction. And in the championship season we would’ve still been 1 point above Leeds anyways
He’s officially our manager, I will back him, he definitely knows how to get a team out of the lower leagues and hold players accountable. Hopefully he knows how to hold himself accountable too when needed.
Come on you foxes, straight back up

@troopzafc Bring in Barnes/Palmer/Bowen, I’m pretty sure we have until tomorrow until we can swap anyone out of our squad and use someone from the 55 man, we can’t have an injured player in our squad again
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Tunisia have SACKED head coach Sabri Lamouchi following their 5-1 defeat to Sweden. 🇹🇳👋
Lamouchi becomes the first manager to lose his job at the 2026 World Cup, with Tunisia acting swiftly after their heavy loss.

@Crouch199028 You’ll start seeing them more as we progress, probably a massive amount once we have our first group game, doesn’t really feel much World Cup like seeing how long we’ve had to wait😂
