Devils have to draft better. I wouldn’t fire Fitz tbh. When you look at the rebuild as a whole I think he’s done a good job. For the most part he has good contracts. Bad injury luck the last two seasons is tough. Am I disappointed by this trade deadline? Yes how could you not be.

@JamesNicholsNHL Don’t think we need to sell but don’t think now’s the time to make a big splash by moving players that could be great and contribute down the road. Team is still relatively young. If you can get players for the right price I’m all for it.

Idk what to think about the Devils situation. Most of the core is still pretty young. Goalies are old. Couple defenseman are older but you have young guys stocked at D. Idk if I want to sell good future pieces for a rental but I dont want to punt on back to back seasons.
