@AdamLucioWX There are pros and cons on both sides of the argument. Public complacency is always a concern. However, I believe the main question is “should a possible tornado be warned?” I think the answer should always be yes, regardless of the storm type.
@StrmchsrHunterF At the end of the day, the NWS has a job to do and that is to protect lives. If a threat is perceived, I believe it should be warned. It’s the public’s responsibility to take action. Concern over “crying wolf” is a real, but should never deter a met from taking appropriate action
