The official account for the City of Cleveland, Ohio's public electric utility. We are committed to providing reliable and affordable energy and energy services
Thank you for your patience as our crews continue working to restore power across Cleveland. Significant progress has been made, and power has already been restored to many customers.
All availible crews have been deployed throughout the city, actively investigating and repairing isolated outages to safely restore service as quickly as possible.
Reminder: Stay away from downed wires—assume they are live and call 9-1-1.
@JasonStepp Our outage map shows outages caused by feeders (large distribution lines), not isolated outages. You can report your address using the link below. If you have reported your outage, dispatch is aware.

Please be patient, stay far away from downed wires, and call 9-1-1 to report any immediate hazards. Never assume a power line is safe.
Thank you to the lineworkers, tree crews, dispatchers, and support staff working around the clock to restore power after today's storms.
⛈️ When trees bring down power lines (like this one in North Collinwood) crews must first make the area safe before repairs can begin. Clearing debris and assessing damage takes time, but restoration is underway across our service territory.
Safety reminders: Stay away from downed wires—assume they are live and call 9-1-1.
Avoid flooded areas and use caution on roads.
Use flashlights instead of candles during outages.
Stay safe, Cleveland. ⚡
Severe storms are currently moving through the Cleveland area bringing heavy rain, high winds, and downed tree limbs. Cleveland Public Power crews are actively responding to scattered outages across the city.
