Thanks Matt for organising and to all who came along (and survived the heat!)
82 years ago today, nearly 160,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, launching the liberation of Europe.
We are free because they were brave. 🇺🇸
Diesel's price swings can create major challenges for businesses and consumers alike. #RNG offers a more stable alternative, with price fluctuations measured in pennies rather than dollars thus helping fleets reduce financial uncertainty while improving air quality. @ce_renewables https://t.co/3FFZGIMMhY

@theknightirish High class problems my friend. Be glad this is the worst of it. I too went through this saga and thankfully have all three books but have thankfully forgot any trauma associated with collecting them. I am just grateful to be in the position to have them.
April 14, 1918, saw one of America’s first aviation victories. U.S. fliers Douglas Campbell and Alan Winslow took down two German planes.
Douglas Campbell was the son of an astronomer, which is super fascinating in a way because his father clearly loved the skies, and he would become a pilot in the war. Probably a job his father never imagined would once exist.
Campbell attended Harvard and was good friends with Quentin Roosevelt, who also enlisted as a pilot in WWI.
Campbell would go on to become America’s first flying ace with six victories, while Quentin lost his life in combat in 1918. Quentin is buried at the American cemetery in Normandy, next to his brother, who died during the 1944 landings.
In Campbell’s later life, he became the VP of Pan-America Airways.
Campbell, Roosevelt, and many others paved the skies for aerial combat during WWI.
Off to DC to chair the program committee for the American Historical Association. We got hundreds of panel submissions, so this is shaping up to be a long weekend of debates about which panel makes the cut.
On the bright side, there’s a much easier decision you can make: preorder my forthcoming book :) If you grab it here: https://t.co/ZqGuwQfiI0 and use promo code ASFLYQ6, you’ll get 30% off. That’s 600+ pages for just $20 ;) @OUPAcademic
Absent urgent #caleg action, we could see 175 tons of increased NOx emissions per day according to the state's air quality agency CARB. Those hit hardest would be disadvantaged #communities along trade corridors.
Solution: Prioritize $100M of clean air funding for heavy-duty low-emission #trucks. #RNG #CleanAir
Black History Month celebrates resilience, leadership, and vision. Advancing cleaner #transportation fuels and #renewable fuel alternatives reflects those same values.
Beyond #BlackHistoryMonth, we will continue building healthier communities, supporting economic mobility, and creating a more sustainable future for the next generation. #RNG #ClimateAction #Sustainability
