Public need should be given priority over corporate greed. Essential services should be under public ownership.
Privatisation of profitable national assets, who serve the poorest of the poor, is not done!!
Yet again 'bhediya aaya'
With every such news they are checking the opposition level among bankers and their unions..
How's the josh bankers to #StopPrivatisation ??
काश, सरकार निजीकरण की नीति में इसी तरह का बदलाव करते हुए सरकारी क्षेत्र के बैंकों एवम अन्य संस्थाओं को सार्वजनिक संस्था के रूप में काम करने देती।

The NaMo Govt formally halts #BPCL privatisation because of poor response. This is exactly why #LICIPO ought not have proceeded despite gross undervaluation, confirming that it was indeed India's biggest-ever privatisation scam https://t.co/br1t4emXTM
So the Cat is out of the bag. It goes like this.
1. Govt decided to sell stake in #LIC and to #privatize two #PSB.
2. The #LICIPO was proposed for first half of 2022.
3 The govt decided to bring banking law amendment bill 2021 in December 2021

This comparative performance of PSBs tell loudly that profits can be earned by doing social welfare banking by implementing various govt schemes & applying low services & interest charges in honest & true sense. PSBs always care about survival & revival of economy. #PSBsInProfit

Disinvestment target of Govt was set at Rs 65000 Cr(2022-33) but 12 PSU banks have posted a profit of Rs 66736 Cr ,means Rs 1736 cr more than the disinvestment target.Even after that Govt will not show their wisdom to Change the idea of privatisation of PSBs?
That is too after:
◆Huge provisioning against Corporate loans NPA
◆Pandemic
◆Implementation of Non Profitable Govt schemes
◆Huge staff shortage
◆Doing Mass banking
◆Opening of 43cr Jandhan a/c
◆Minimum service charge
◆Unfavorable local administration #PSBsInProfit
Govt has set Disinvestment target of Rs 65,000 Crore for FY22-23, While all 12 Public Sector Banks made Net Profit of Rs. 66,736 Crore more than this. #PSBsInProfit
Why Selling Profitable Govt Banks?
