This quote reminds us that no sin is greater than God’s mercy. You may look at your past and think you have gone too far, failed too many times, or disappointed God beyond repair. But that is not true.

Jesus did not come only for people who already had their lives together. He came to save sinners. When we honestly repent, go to Confession, and turn back to Him, He does not push us away. Scripture says, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18).

God’s mercy does not mean sin does not matter. Sin wounds our relationship with Him and with others. But mercy means the wound does not have to be the end of your story. Shame tells you to hide. Jesus calls you to come closer, tell the truth, and let Him begin again with you.
