Will tweet about anything... but mostly education and basketball. Opinions can be influenced by others.

@NathanJonesBook You look like this well known Aussie....

Rise of the mullet in the NBA... another Aussie!

A student told me when learning to use a microscope, "I can't see a thing. It's all black!" I had to remind this student to open the eye that was actually looking through the eyepiece. Easy mistake....?🔬🙄

Seeking recommendations for a new smartwatch. Needs to be android.. leaning towards Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic... anyone have one and love it?

Had a guest speaker for our secondary students on Friday. The message was on respect. Replacing the word respect with 'value' was a key point. Great message; and love speakers who grab the attention of high school students.

It's funny how things you misunderstood or hated at school can become the most enjoyable to teach. Trying to tell my 15 year-old self that Chemistry is worth learning would have fallen on deaf ears. Now I actually love teaching this stuff... attitude is everything! #education

Al Horford is having some kind of playoffs. Got to give the guy credit after the 76ers fiasco. Having role players step up in finals basketball is huge. Confidence and the right fit make all the difference! #NBAFinals2022

This is just funny... but scary at the same time!

At the NRA Convention someone told us that hammers are used to kill more people than guns. So we looked up the stats in front of them.

@curricadvocate Thanks, Steven. Yeah another died overnight. They don't recover well from the shock.

My day started early with our neighbour advising us that a fox had gotten into our chook-yard during the night...unfortunately lost 7 out of 11 chickens. Burying chickens is not pleasant. Gutted!

Can you believe the original Top Gun is 36 years old...? Genuinely looking forward to the sequel after seeing the reviews. The original also had a kickass sound track. I feel the need.. the need for speed. @TopGunMovie

End of week 3. There are a few teachers still standing and covering multiple classes in my school. I am one of the them. More kids slowly returning to school. This year has been one of the hardest 23 years I have been teaching. But I still love it.

Any Aussies remember buying these as a kid back in the 80's...One side was impossible to eat and the other was pretty much pure sugar ice joy... and they were only 20c!

100% agree with Andrew Gaze. Can't stand 'entitled' athletes who don't understand the privilege of living in a country where you can be paid for playing sport.... hello!

[Ryan Fitzgerald @FitzySA]

Really powerful from ⁦@AndrewGaze10⁩ on Liz Cambage. So passionate about the sport but importantly representing your country. Will defend it if anyone questions it. ⁦@AndyMaherDFA⁩ ⁦@TheRunHomeSEN⁩

My arrival at work today was celebrated by all. After a negative RAT - no need for internal relief. Would be nice if they cheered like this every time I walked into the staffroom. #edutwitter 🎉🍾🥳
