@PplsCityCouncil @lacontroller If it’s General Fund, the $$ reverts/returns to the Reserve Fund if unspent by (fiscal) year’s end. Those funds remain there as part of the emergency Reserve Fund and/or those $$$ may be appropriated in future years back to LAPD or other Departments.

@latimesopinion Any Councilperson funded by thee Gov’t Unions will cut City services & programs first to free up funding to finance the quid pro quo pay raises. It’s happening right now & its happened many times in the past.

@latimesopinion They negotiate the largest mult-billion $ contracts in the City. They are lobbyists and they are NOT current City employees. They control LA’s purse strings. They care about their members first, most of whom don’t even live in LA.
