@farazamiruddin Having to survive a grocery store multiple times a week, even if for only ten minutes at a time, sounds like a literal nightmare to folks like me who are easily overstimulated.

Why are so many people so clueless? It’s standard practice for restaurants—and artisanal ice creams shops especially—to develop recipes that work for their equipment, clientele, overall vibe, local ingredients, etc. It happens every day in every eatery in the world.
AI is so popular because it gives uncreative people the illusion that they are creative. It lets them skip right to the part where they get validation. It’s not only parasitic, but extremely narcissistic.
this whole "should a prof be allowed to ask you to come to office hours to defend your ai flagged work" debate just highlights how a sizable portion of students think their tuition pays for their diploma and not the opportunity to get an education at that institution
@SketchesbyBoze I think you’re misunderstanding. The people who are using AI to do that now were just simply not doing those things before. Many humans are stupid. They don’t cultivate literary and creative skills.
In a study of people with generalized anxiety disorder, only 8.6% of recorded worries actually happened.
The most common outcome: 0%. Not a single worry came true.
